No it was 1.6 seconds, the land and sky was very bright and I had to use the pol and ND6 to hold the time back to slow the sea down. |

They are beautiful flowers and are a joy to photograph, the colour and light is extremely good and stand out well.
I do wonder if trying to do this in layer exposure so the depth of focus is right across the cornflower. But striking images that stands out. This would print well. |

I love the old farm house, looks like a photographers friend and would be worth a trip back, not so sure all this growth in the foreground was needed, for me it dominates the image.
If that house was over here, it would have been bought by a developer and modernize and cost you millions.
But I do think just having the field and the house would have been more impacting. |

You don't say, but I take it that this is a sunset, what a lovely sky and reflection. The colours are subtle, not overpowering and the pier is nicely placed. Shame about the bit of growth at the foot witch I think spoils the image and with the magic of PS you could remove them.
Are they all wading birds in the distances? |

The first thing that hits me, what is that man think he is going to catch standing that close with his phone.
It is a spectacular sight to see when it goes, I will only ever see it on the telly.
Have those two men standing in front of it does add to the size and power of this wonderous sight, all your work has done well with good tones and detail.
Jealous that you are lucky one to get to see it live. Nice one. |

What this does do, it shows off very well how much great monochrome images are at are doorstep, we just have to look.
This has some lovely shapes and some good texture and tones, just those highlights are a touch harsh, bring them back as detail is there to make a better balance this image would pop. I like these type of images, as said they are bread and butter images but they can be very beautiful and make for amazing prints. Just have another go with the highlights, luminosity masks would love this image. |

You have caught the bass player in a good stance and in full flow, the ring lighting is good and frames him well, I do think you could have kept a touch more of the detail in the front aspect of the guitar and his torso. With luminosity mask I would have seen if I could have pulled a touch more of the light ray but holding the bright parts where they are.
Good stage image.
Looks like my type of music, who are they and where they any good? |

This is a very nice scene, the mood is there and the bridge and building makes for an atmospheric image. I do agree that it needs a crop and the colour images allows the buildings to stand out more. I am not a fan of the lens flare, does not look right for the image. I can see why you prefer the mono version with the tint, it does have the mood. |

I am fan of American Pickers and watch them over here. You see so often images like this but the town/city has fallen into decay and the businesses have moved out, it so nice to see one of the streets where it thrives.
You have taken the image well with good tone and lots of detail. Its got one minor niggle for me, shame its not one inch higher so you don't crop the top of the tower off and you should have got Santa or one of your friends to walk down one of the pavements, the left side would have been best.
Well done on the breakfast drive. |
