That last sun makes this image, the star effect is just right for the image. The contrast between the rocks is very good. I must admit that when I first saw this it bought back memories of the long hikes and you are at the end of the day and you camp is just over that last ridge and everything hurts.
Pleasing picture of painful memories. |

This is a well found spot for images, I do hope you filled your boots and your card. Looking at the drone image there looks like there is lots of shots here, close-up to front on. Someone thought a long time ago that a photographer will love these in 80 years time. Personnel i think you could put a touch more contrast into the image and I think there may be a lot better angles even though the high grasses can get in the way. Great find though. |

I think it a right of passage, that if you visit this area you have to get this shot, it is so surprising that you see so many of these and there is always so many people there that you are able to get so many variants of this scene and not disturbed by anyone. The Star effect sun does make this one stand out from the crowd and make this different to view. A member from my UPP circle visited here and has the same image but no sun, well he does have a son sitting on the rock on the left. Great image, shame I will never get the opportunity to take my version. |

I look at this image and i get the feeling of a roller coaster, starting on the left, flowing to the right, then being rush back to the left and then being slung off into the distance. So that makes this composition work as an image.
Those two formations left and right do hold the image well and let the viewer flow into the rest of the image. I do wonder if a touch more contrast would be good, but that may just be my taster. Good image of the scene. |

This is a simple image that has a lot there, the layers make this image work, the trees to the cloud, then the mountains and then the two layers of clouds. All tonally good.
I would crop the sky a touch just to balance the image more, come down from the top to the first dust spot on the left.
Dust spots, come on so easy to do in Photoshop now. |

I do have to say that this does look a wonderful building to shoot, do they allow proper photography in there? Very ornate and in a way over the top altar. The over the top lighting has made it nearly impossible to shoot this image in one shot, it will need multiple layers for the different light levels. I notice what looked like balconies on the left so went and had a look and was amazed to see that both sides have been done with them. This is a fantastic building to attack with a tripod and many layers just so all that detail that is there comes out. Must have been wonderful to see. |

I love these type of images and have taken them before myself, but I have never done anything with them as they are not liked over here. But being an ex biker and love driving this is just the open road and I would just love the ride it. Great sky to add the mood. Well handled image and very simple. Well done. |

No building, just a large brick wall, a bus stop and a coach that had park in the wrong place. Its like most places in the UK now over run with people. |

That does look and impressive building, the shape is lovely, I have seen this building or another similar by a member in S33.
The lighting makes this image, the lighting to the foreground is very nice and lighting the building, but for me the foliage of the trees stand out and come across beautifully. Shame this is not used any more or someone has not refurbished this into a house, what a setting. |

Another Arfan masterpiece of the dunes, the shape you have composed in the frame is just right and the texture and flow of the of the dune is perfect. The brightest area I do wonder if you could pull just a touch more detail back into that. The lighting is magical.
But I must say that on this occasion I prefer the colour, the lighting comes across stronger and that touch of wind blow on the bottom is lovely. Just a small touch of tonal work on that would be just right.
Great picture. |

This is a classic monochrome image. If this was printed large on a fine art paper and mounted on the wall you would have difficulty saying if this was wet or digital. This does have the feeling that it has been honed in the basement for hours using film and dodging & burning with the camera and a bit of chemical and final you appear from the dark with this masterpiece. It is wonderful and one that I wish it was mine. |
