I used to love my Sundays, my dad always made sure that we went out very early and learnt and explored the land around us, but we never had views like this, if that does not put a joy into your heart and a spring into your step then your sad. Magic and a joy. A the moment I am struggling to walk the stairs, so thank you for putting a smile on my face. |

Well I am going to disagree with the first two comments, there is an image here, but the saying less is more comes into play. The highlight of the image is that building, but it is being dominated by the brightness of the foreground grass, that dark shadow and the tree. So lets lose two out of three and see what happens. A heavy crop gives you a nice balanced image with no distractions.
When I had this in PS, the histogram was heavy midzone with a touch lean to the highlights, but was not over exposed. Just pulling up a corves and a slight pull down from the center balanced the image out.
Think you found a place to return to a have another play with in different times of the year, Love to see this in the snow. |

I like this image for an outsider from America as it does show the vastness of the place as here is the old and the new and not a farmhouse to be seen anywhere. I like your colour and tones and understand why you have so much field in the foreground, but with all the plough lines going in the opposite directions I wonder if a touch less is better. |

You have composed and produced a great scene with some lovely layers, the reflection is just right and the contrast between the grasses and the mountain is nice. Most of the sky is lovely, but that top right hand corner is fighting for domination and for me is spoiling the image. With some delicate cloning from the same layer and losing that bright blue makes a vast different to the image. Nice picture. By the way you have missed a large dust spot in the upper clouds. |

I must admit when I first opened this image two things popped into my head, I will keep the first thing to myself, the second I did not realise that the Germans had got that far in the first world war as that peak does look like the top of a German helmet.
You have chosen a good view point and that peak is unusual, but in the format you have (right to left) the bushes dominate a lot. But if you flip the image the domination is much less, its just the way most peoples brains work.
Dead center above the small peal is a black shape, is that an Eagle flying. Does look that way. I would slightly bring up the contrast and colour of the hills to compete with the bush.
Must have been wow to just sit there. |

You do have his attention, the detail on the monochrome version is very strong, the hairs on the body that have come out is very good. I love the shape of the head and ankles to the body and he does look like he is about to charge you.
Quite dramatic shot for a drive by shot, every time I have tried this they have run a mile, what aftershave do you wear? |

The colour version is a good image, but turning the image monochrome has made the image pop, the shadows are so powerful and that wonderful shape of the wall on the left is brilliant. I like the slight toning as it adds a nice warmth to the image. Very strong monochrome. |

A strong monochrome winter scene, good tonal feel and the horse stands out well from the background. Very pleasing image.
I have been using Lightroom for a while now for my B&W conversion, I find the tonal control in there is so much better than anything else and then I have the control of Luminosity Masks in PS.
Great picture. |

It is interesting to see what gets past city planners, a gift wrapped art center is an interesting choice for the city. You tonal range in the image is deep and suits the image well, I don't mind the building and cars top right as it shows how the building sits within the city or not as the case may be. I do think the city council should be made when they build these buildings the place the perfect viewing platform for the best angle to photograph these buildings. But your angle is very pleasing. |
