Another beautiful scene from the Alps, been up to something similar and sat and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity that you get, when the sun just catches these cotton grass the colour and light just explodes. You have framed the scene well and have a nice little reflection, the clouds add good depth to the image. Lovely picture. |

That green envy from across the Atlantic is coming out again. Its the middle of are summer and it has been raining for the last week. I look at this and get fond memories of Northumberland beaches so makes me smile.
Wonderful colours and the detail is spot on. I love your proportions of layers, as none of them are fighting each other for dominance. That runner is just in the right place. I can now shut my eyes and dream of sitting in that dune just listening to the sea. Thank you. |

The IR has produce a combination of colour and effect that gives a great eerie feeling and your choice of land to sky is just right. I like the dominate gravestone in the middle, but I do question the angle you have chosen, why take the back of the grave stones, using more of the front would have added more to the scene and more meaning to the image and you could have made that large grave stone more dominate. Hope you took a lot more. |

Is the Green envy coming across the Atlantic. If you had just taken the pier with that sunset this would be a great little picture with some wonderful colour and light. But have the girl in the shallows you cannot help but smile and wish you were there. Wonderful picture and one for the top archive.
p.s. Its America so its Superman not a bird. |

The first impression you get is heat, this does look hot, you have captured the image very well, the colour and detail is spot on and is pin sharp. I like the way the wind and all the feet have formed a bowl effect around the bush. How could this have been improved, if I was taking this I would have tried to get the bush and the cloud on the right hand side third line and the tip of the peak on the left hand third line. That would have given you a very powerful triangle which judges fall into a gloopy mess for. Strong picture though. |

Well that did have me confused for a bit, as i thought the Panther did not have that hatch on the right. But it seems the German could not make their minds up as there was three versions. One with, One without and one with but no machine gun. The men in black, I agree the man on the left is in the correct uniform for a German tank soldier. But the one on the right comes across as a tank division orderly as he seems to have no cap or lapel insignia so would have been in the following command centre. |

This is all about how the white of the daisies stand against the black and grey's of the rest of the flower bed. It works very strongly, the contrast is extremely good with the black stems leading the eyes from the bas the the white heads. It all just sits well together. Very nice image. |

Some of us won't have the same affinity with this building than others here, so this image will have to stand alone as a monochrome architectural piece. I do like the way you are playing with the light and the moon and using the block style of the building. But I do find this image very dark and the main part of the image is not coming out at me to grab me. This maybe one of those image that would print better and art paper. |

You have captured the image well and the detail is spot on. I like the tone and the shadows of the image. I am not a great fan of the border as i find it takes away from the picture. If you are really good with PS, I would remove the man in black on the right for two reasons, 1) He stands out to much for me. 2) for history he would have never been on the back of a tank in that uniform so he is out of place.
I actually like the colour version and think you can have a lot of fun with it in PS, specially if you got a lot more image of this type from the weekend.
Now the Tank. I don't know what that is, that might sound a bit wired, but I am into tanks and I don't know this one. I have looked through my records and other records of German WW2 tanks and cannot find one with that sloped armour, 75mm gun plus drivers hatch and machine gun mount. So I wonder if it is a tank build just after the war by another country using the Tiger 2 spec. I will check the museum records and find it.

I always thought that all good photographers carry around with them the normal needs, cloth, TOW TRUCK etc. Otherwise this image is fabulous, I would like about 5mm more room on the left, I know you would need two tow trucks, but you then don't just cut the building off. The detail is brilliant and that lamppost not counting the car is very strong. Just take the tow truck with you next time. |

Another beautiful landscape image with some strong tones and that strong shadow holding the base of the image. However I find the flow of the landscape naturally pulls you into that valley and up the hill, cropping it takes away from that natural flow and spoils the image for me. That moody sky does lift the image well and adds to the impact of the whole scene. Strong picture |

The monochrome conversion has worked very well bring out some love detail on the walls, for me it gives the impression of skin with veins. The tonality is very good and the way the shadow of the post and the tower with the strong white cross draws the viewers eye. Yes the left side is a distraction but the building is strong and that white cross does draw your eye. |
