Your idea and your attempt are very good from what you had taken. The tones and colours in the background are done very well. The problem with doing this type of image is in the details people will notice the littlest of flaws. So making sure that all the little artifacts and the cutting out and blending is spot on is so important.
I do think you could have gone a step further and continued this on to a watercolour painting effect and that would have gone with the feeling of the image better. |

Looks like something out of a science fiction movie, don't go on the sands, it's out of phase and you be trapped in another dimension. It does give a serial feel to the image that you have composed very well. That one main bush on the left-hand side is so important to hold the image and allow the dunes to do their thing. It does look a lot better in monochrome, if this was mine, I would remove that path like effect down the centre of the image by using the patch tool with content-aware. |

The Autumn colours in this image are beautifully captured and are very radiant. The Hut is in a nice position and the fence leads you to the hut, but partly that is where it is let down as the viewer is drawn away from the left side and all that colour. A real shame that the tree/bush sits in front of the fence as it breaks the line of the image in a bad way. I quickly played with PS2020 but with more care, you can do better. But it does improve the image removing it, better than an axe. |

This image is all about those colours, and would be a landscape painters dream. The layers do come over well and all the colours do compliment each other well. But, I look at the image and I do feel uncomfortable with the image and I found it to be the green layer in the foreground that was stopping me in a way from entering the image. So I have cropped that off the bottom and a small slice off the top to balance and I do think the image sits better and the mountain comes more into play. |

Most people that have come back from Iceland in the last couple of years have all said the same, wonderful place, but getting so overcrowded with tourists it's getting hard to get images.
This does look a wonderful site and having the rainbow over it is an added bonus. Using dehaze in Photoshop is easy, it's one slider that you move left or right till you get to where you like it, with this you need to control all the individual tones. Doing your blanket adjustment has made the water too bright, but making a mask of the water and then making a reverse copy for the land would have given you the basic control. You then would have been able to pull more out of the ground without damaging the water.

This must be a wonderful place to stay, the peace and quiet must be amazing. I quite like your original as it will be closer to the situation you were taking, the valley would have been in deep shadow but that white building would have captured the first touch of light which your camera would have captured. The colours at the top are beautiful.
That little road/footpath is very important to the image. Lovely image to view. |

Well, that is a unique position to get into to get a great picture, the mood set by that great sky and the tones you have in the image is great, but are improved by David.
It does show off how busy it gets around the play before boarding. |

Over your lifetime of photography, you will take 1000's, but only 1% of them will make to your No. 1 catalog. This image will be one of them.
It is full of passion and sadness and is wonderful to view in monochrome. The background works well for the image as it holds them well for that wonderful reflection on the stage. The keyline around the image is needed for digital viewing, but one to be proud of. |

The tone in the tree is mist in the early morning that was just hanging there and not moving, but where I was standing there was none. Here is the flipped version. |

This is a strong architectural image with some strong features. The detail and the tones are spot on, if it was mine I would have like you about six inches to the left just to get a touch more separation with the light and the overhang. I am not so sure if you need that entrance on the left edge. But really good image. |

It is so much fun walking along the beach looking for these small images that appear, then getting them right in the frame, there are a couple of photographers over here that specialize on these and produce some beautiful work.
This is nicely placed in the frame and has produced a lovely shape, but my initial feeling on looking at this image is heavy. But there are some nice texture in the image. |
