33 Sep 19 Comment They do have some striking buildings on Iceland. I like your compositions, I do think the image could be a tad sharper, specially on the main boat. I would put a small vignette on the image mainly to pull the sky tone down as it is a tad strong compared with the rest of the image. Hope you climbed the cliff and photographed that church. Sep 10th
33 Sep 19 Comment This is one of those images that makes you wish you were sitting there with your camera and tripod. Beautiful tranquil scene with lovely reflection and perfect light. Well composed and good colour. I would just pull back the tone on the wall of the chapel as I find it just a tad bright. But that is picking holes. great image. Sep 10th

39 Sep 19 Comment Now this one does work better in monochrome and has a nice balance between the wall and the ruins. Again nice detail in the face and well framed. I would have removed that touch of modern fencing as it does not add to the image. Sep 10th
39 Sep 19 Comment It think this is a great idea for this image as it suits the subject, but I do find the softness bleeds to deeply into the image and draws your eye away from the two important parts which is the old lady and the moped. I do find that sign is annoying and if your really good at PS you could loose it. Sep 10th
39 Sep 19 Comment Yes the horizontal style does work, but if the engine was throwing out steam smoke that black then that boiler needs a clean or overhaul. But it would have been much better taking a couple of steps back at the point of taking so we had more gap at the top and more room on the right. I do think you highlights are at least half a stop over exposed. Sep 10th
39 Sep 19 Comment Really strong image with lots of strength and power. The top half of the image dominates but does not over power, the striations are lovely to look at with some fabulous shapes.
The bottom half is more delicate and shows off the ruins well. But I have to say on this occasion, I think this image is stronger in colour, I think the colour enhances the picture and helps to balance it out. Great image.		 Sep 10th
