I like the idea for this image, and the light pouring into this image does look very inviting with some interesting colours. I do agree losing that dark gap on the left is a good idea. I do wonder that if shooting at lower ISO say 100 or 50 with a longer exposure would handle that light better and one trick I have done before that has worked in this situation is putting on a polarize as most of that is blue light. The alternative is to go monochrome. I would like to get this into Luminosity Mask to see what I can pull out of those colours. |

I have to agree, I love the lines of the house against the lines of the trees and then set off by those two pots. The Symmetry is very strong and we just need Clark Cable to stroll into the scene. |

This is a good spot for an image on the drive home a one for the note book for the winter time when there is less foliage. I wonder if a lower angle to maybe get more of reflection would make this image stronger. But I do think this is one for the winter. |

I love the idea of this image and the way you have handled the tree and the small bushes around it, but I find the way you have handled the rest of the image makes the image feel unbalanced and lacking and think you could have done more. The magical light would have not just stopped it would have sprinkled off so more would have been better. Sorry. |

This image does what it is meant to do, it shows off the geological scale of this gorge. The train was worth the wait as it adds the scale you needed. The tree is in a nice position. I would tone down the left corner just a touch so it does not draw the eye so much. But you have achieved what you were out to do. Well done. |

This does tell the story of the local shopping street with all the people mingling around doing their thing. What is really nice to see and I have looked closely not a mobile phone in site which is impossible in the west. I would crop the left side to the gentleman's elbow so you lose those dark patches. But it is fascinating to see all the different people. Question is did the lady have a go at you? |

I like your combination of an English medical sapper, Canadian troop and a French nurse, your composition is nicely put together and she does have a lovely smile. I do like the nurses watch hanging down. The tone and tints are spot on. What I watched on TV it seemed to be a great event.

You really are drawn into this image with the lines you have achieved, the decay is really well captured and this is a very strong architectural image. You do get the feeling of the hell this must have been to be an inmate. Very strong picture. |

Your camera control and image taking is spot on here and the person does add great scale to the image. I love these type of shots with all the shapes and patterns and I love the way you a drawn through the door and the pattern continues. But I look at this image and my mind is always draw to what we don't see and that is the continuations of the shapes on the right and I wonder if there is a stronger image with that. But that is not drawing away from this being a strong picture. |

I think this is a lovely shot and for someone from the UK this sums up the American open range, I am waiting for John Wayne to come riding in on his horse. The mountains in the background add fab scale. If it was mine I would have liked to take a couple of steps to the right so the tip of the roof falls at the bottom of the V in the mountain and there is some separation from the trees on the right. But great shot. |
