You have chosen a nice spot with some lovely colours and layers, I agree with Larry about flipping the image, but I do find when you do flip it you get the feeling of it running down hill, so it may need a slight twist. If it was me taking this picture that I would have like to be at least a foot higher just to get a bit more of the tree in the background and a touch more depth. |

Well the eagle has it and you have it nicely place in the image. there are some nice details to look at in the harbour. Is that the bow of the liner popping in on the left. Just the front of it towers over the whole town. |

Congratulations on the fantastic capture of the lighting, you have got that spot on. I agree with Elizabeth about they are two lighting strikes but where? |

You have such a natural image here with that wonderful shape of the water leading you though the image and the shades of light fall in the image. But for me the image does not work, I struggle to flow through this image, I am blacked by that heavy reflection and the heavy feeling of the whole image. Have you tried this image in monochrome as there is some great textures in there. |

Well this could have been taken last January in Scotland head home to the farm, just reminds me of my winter drives. Your composition is very nice and the road leads you into the image, that shape on the hill is dominating the image as it is the only none subtle part of the picture. The point of where the road goes is there but you miss it because of the hill, you can see the roof of the house. What would have been good is smoke coming from the house to make it more prominent. This reminds me so much of freezing days in Scotland I love it. |

Cracking structural image which has been well composed with good use of the natural lines to frame that amazing light falling across the image. The inclusion of the person is a brilliant move as it adds scale and movement in the frame. I wonder if it would be good the remove the black box like thing on left out of the image and I agree about the keyline.
This will make a good print. |

Just shows how far the modern digital camera has moved forward in the past few years, if I tried this with extension tubes on hand held with my old digital camera it would have been blurred. So well done on a great image with lovely DOF and an good eye for an interesting image. |

This is one of those images that you have to view for a while for your eyes to settle and take control of all those wonderful angles and textures, But when it does the image falls into place and "POW" the image hits you. Those two people at the far end give great scale. Bring up the contrast a touch would help the brighter areas but mask the darker areas so they don't become to dark. great picture. |

I to like the angle you have chosen for your image, it fills the frame very well. I also like the detail in the flower heads which are very delicate. Your DOF are giving us some nice effects for the background. But I am not a fan of the border as I find it is fighting for attention from the picture. |
