It is amazing how diverse our group is from vast wild mountains to soft fields, I must admit I would have walked past this image and not seen this, The old windmill in the field and the shape of the land around it would have drawn my interest but I would not have tied it up with the old fence post. I do wonder if we need a touch more on the left or maybe a touch more height for the slope in the land just to get some more shape in the landscape.
But it is an intriguing image that makes you think of how many pictures do you walk past each time you go out with your camera. |

Well you have done what you were after, a dramatic scene of weather and mountains and that person on the end on the path is so important to hold the image. I do think you are just getting to the edge of over processing the image, but the dramatic scene is just holding it.
I don't agree that this image need to be flipped, I think the problem is the rocks on the left a fight the mountains on the right, if you crop in from the left to within 2 cm of the path the image becomes so much better balanced and uses the contour of the land better. |

You have captured a very pleasing image of the bridge with very good control over the lights and colours. It would have been so easy to blow all those lights out but here nice and simple with just a small star. Tones and colours in the sky is very nice and compliment the bridge.
I take it that it is difficult to get close of good angles of this bridge, as it would be nice to be close to the water for the reflection or higher to get car trails.
But this is a very good image. |

I have come back to this image over a few days as I was not sure about the affect on the foreground, but this image has grown on me. The composition is very nice as the placement of the tree at the base of the main slope works so well. Your tones a colours works very well for the scene and the effect fits the scene.
I would remove that bright spot in the cloud as it catches the eye and does not fit the image. I also cropped half the sky away which bought the tree in to a better position in the image. |

You have done well here to get the good contrast of the twisted pillars to the vaulted ceiling. Some lovely texture and detail and what is nice with this angle you see how the pillar finishes to the roof as you have the top of the next pillar. Pleasing image. |

This is a good piece of street photography, that face is brilliant and full of life, it is a shame that man with the cap is in the frame as I would love to know what is on the end of the third arm.
But you cannot help but look around at all those other faces is the crowd. Its well taken and well processed image. |

Considering this is a still taken from a video it has some lovely detail and tones. Your highlights are a touch bright and could just be pulled back a touch. Shame we don't have a catch light in that one eye and a touch more room on the right. But a very pleasing picture and a good technique to know to get stills from video. |

You have captured some wonderful shapes, patterns and lines in the sands and the placement of the image is spot on. But what makes this image is the tones and placement of your shadows which are giving the viewing a wonderful feel of depth. Great picture. |

David I can see why you took this photo with the shapes being form around the rocks in the sand and the lines the water in the sand, but for me your processing is to harsh for the scene your depicting.
I find it to dark specially in the top half of the image, the two rocks are coming across as two large holes. I do think this image would be much better with a softer and more subtle feel so your get the feel of all those delicate lines in the sand. Sorry. |
