Dear Paul, 'The obvious reference' is indicative of what that 'someone else came up behind me and said' I did mention that I twisted the image; the correct word rotated the image slightly to ensure that the viewer would understand the sensual undertones. My only concern after creating the image is that there is a line bisecting the frame. It goes against the usual rules where you have a line dividing the frame. It was not possible to bring the line down in a square format. I hope it still works. Good light to you Paul. |

Very nice child portrait reflecting good characterization and emotion. I agree with Dav on the hot spot in the hat. Also the dress separation with the background is soft, but not a concern. Good light to you. |

Interesting image. The lighting is spectacular and your responded well to catch the light. I agree the base is too dark for comfort and the details lost there. But it is still a striking image with good dramatic impact. |

Very good one Jerry. The vignetting is a good idea. But I see some tonal bands on the top two vertices created due to this. Still very simple and evocative image. I also missed your presentation in YPS last week. I was the Secretary of the society in the early 90s. The members there have given great feedback. Wishing you 'Good Light. |

The integrity of the image is not compromised in all my work. it is a direct shot, no manipulations, cloning, editing, just conversion and a square crop from the original take. It is a part of a dune and there is no sky. Thank you Dave. |
