Thank you Jerry. You are always an inspiration. The bottom zone is not as steep as one is interpreting here. It is about 10-12 feet high and probably it is the perspective that makes one assume it to be larger than reality. The climb would be steep slightly steep but not difficult. Thanks. |

Many thanks Larry. It gives great satisfaction when you instill in the viewer the emotions or thoughts you anticipate. Indeed this one is very different from my usual work and the intent was to disturb and distract (you said it right schizophrenic) but at the same time make one ponder and be engrossed with the maze. Many thanks for your kind words. |

Thank you Lance. Very kind of you to comment here and indeed I should state here that usually I avoid footprints of men and animals and I consider them a nuisance in my approach to the dune landscape. But I tried this one as I was mesmerized by the footprints juxtaposed with the dune lines. I tried something different though this is not my approach usually and also it may not gel well with the other work. But then I did want to give it a twist and do much more! Thanks for passing by. |

Thank you Dave. I agree I was also in a bit of confusion of the sky and the top. But I didnt want to box it and create a compactness in that zone, hence left it. |

Good one Larry. The image is interesting and has its own charm. The tonal quality is good, but the blacks are a bit muddy and need to be dealt with slightly below the mouth and legs. The other areas are well handled. Also if you have a few mm below and on top it would help as I see it a bit tight at the lower and upper edge, but more at the lower.I think you were quite close and therefore the resulting compo. Still a good one and I like the moment you captured. |

This is a wow image. I like the impact, the play of light and shadow, texture and tones. You did well and the monochrome is by far the medium for this one. The slight warmth adds to the impact. Steve good to know it is already hanging on the wall. Most deserving. Liked it. |

Beautiful image Vincent. The winter clime is well shown and there is a dramatic punch in this one. The monochrome tonality is well controlled and you have a quality image. |

Very nice Paul, liked the way you handled the tonal challenge in this one. One day I should learn the luminosity mask process. I use simple black and white conversion in Photoshop. I agree with Larry on the warmth and emotion of the color version and the technical quality of the mono. Both have their spice and sometimes we can like both. Why not. This is an example of an image working in both mediums. |

Interesting one Jerry. This is innovative architecture and a playground for architectural photography. You did very well with your image which presents the ambiance and provides good information. The tonal contrast is well managed. |

Interesting one Dave. I like it. I had concerns on the background being split in an odd way and not having the complete element in. But after your response I understand the inherent challenges and agree with you, that we need to take what we get and you did the best possible. Also agree with Jerry. Indeed we have to make the best of the possible during these tough times. |
