Yes Jerry, 7 frames in a whisker, as I had to pull myself out as one of the Bedouins gave a shout! Agree with all the man under the camel's leg should go! Interesting to know that the 4K video would be more apt in such situations. Thanks to all for their inputs. Most helpful. |

Good one Larry. You bring an interesting storyline here. I too thought they were holding hands till I read your description of the image. I too would prefer that you lighten the dog and help the viewer to get there more easily. To add you can burn the text 'market' and 'candy bar' a tad as it is unnecessarily catching my attention and distracting me from traveling along this path. To fine tune the compo you have cropped it based on content and the resultant aspect seems odd. As a single image there is no issues, but with panel shots having an odd aspect could be bothersome. Moreover this is coming close to a square, so I would suggest you have a more rectangular aspect that could fit a 3:2. Yes, the bright spots to be handled and Paul has provided his advice on that. Well done Larry. |

Interesting one Steve. You have an eye to present the beauty here with a simple approach. It also has a contemporary feel. |

Dear Vincent, wow, when I read 6400, I am surprised that you managed this shot so well. I see play of light here and definitely the mono is much better than the color. But for me the image has multiple elements and though generically they are the same, it is busy for me. Infact the second girl on the left creates a conflict in eye movement and the harmony is affected. Still I see a good and conscious attempt to emphasize the play of light here. |

Interesting approach Jerry. You have a concept and have executed it with a definite plan. There is magical feel due to the element presented and the processing has been done to emphasize or rather make her stand out from the surroundings. But I feel you have overdone it and the tonality has been compromised in the background details. I see a sudden jump in the tonality also. You have your reasons for working it out this way. But my curiosity is that this is a grab shot of a video and I am interested to know if it can stand an A3 print without pixelation. Please enlighten me if such grab shots of video can be enlarged and printed to quality. Having stated it is nice to see the storyline and concept. |

Thanks Dave, for your inputs here. Agree both the human elements as well as camels do compete for attention due to the dynamism and action. I need to crop the top right. Thanks.
Thanks Paul, you have improved the image considerably; the tighter crop has impact; though Dave differs and wants more of the camels, which I dont have. Yes I did take a risk and probably may not make another attempt after being the told the story that one camel went haywire and created a stampede! |

Interesting one Dave. For me nature looks best in its natural color. Still nature can be presented in mono for aesthetic value and not natural history info. You have used the mono medium to advantage basically because you have 'Good Light' ! It works well and you have sharpness where it matters and the depth of field is quite in, though the far wing has gone out. Still it has good impact. I am not sure why I see some pixelation in the patches in the background. Probably on my screen I am seeing it a tad lighter than Paul who has mentioned it is dark. Good one Dave. |
