Interesting image. The tonality you have achieved is very good. Let me be frank, this image does not work for me personally. For me the primary element which takes center stage in the foreground has its impact, but its the positioning of the secondary element that affects the image. It is too much to the edge and there is tension for the viewer. The are on the right due to this positioning is becoming negative and creates an imbalance between the two elements. The edge on the left has some elements and a dark one right on the center left edge is catching my eye. |

Interesting image Steve. The original expo seems to be a bit compromised, but good thinking to present in mono tones. You did well to showcase the subject in good tonality. But I would prefer some more highlight treatment. Also reduce the contrast a bit. You did well to identify the potential of this subject and yes it catches the eye due to the monotones. Good light to you. |

Beautiful work Vincent. Love it. Minimalism in its purest form. The way you have composed this image and your courage to show a large spatial volume which is negative space is most admirable. It shows a thought process and importantly has great impact. Yes agree for a stroke to demarcate the edge. Good light to you Vincent. |

Oh! I believe I have seen this one :) Classic child portraiture in very informal set up with good compo and style. Though the scan and LR cannot bring back the old world charm of a print, it is worth showcasing in the digital medium. Those catchlight in earlier days were dug out of the emulsion! Good one Dave. I liked it earlier and like it now :) |
