The blue tint is one of the Presets in Lightroom. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I will send directions.

Lots of good comments! I thought I would try to work on one of the images in our group. I tried to darken the background but I stumbled on this treatment. I thought the blue tint (still monochrome) brings out a different feeling for me. How does the group feel? |

Interesting image. Good blacks and whites. There is a dark shadow on the right hand side which I am sure you had no control over. I wonder if there is any detail there? Interesting methodology to reduce saturation to get to a black and white! |

I like your image a lot. I am not sure why but I would like to see a little more on the bottom of the image. The subject clearly shines through. Have you tried adding a little vignette? |

Good use of highlights for this image. I have never been able to do this with Lightroom. Good subject matter for this. I prefer your re-done image to the original. |

Nice treatment. I prefer the B&W more than the color. You have a couple of good blacks in the hand rail. I wonder what the image would look like with more contrast. I think it might help. Nice subject matter! |

I wondered why the leaf was stable myself. Definitely no flash. Very low light LED. I found that the less light used the better. This exposure was one of about 100 exposures. This is not a technique for the impatient. |
