Thanks for the input. I do not live in Minnesota. I was there for a wedding for a weekend. This was several years ago. It seems a little more dicey to be walking around Minneapolis with camera equipment.
Good thought on the crop.
Thanks again. |

I Iike this version better! The first version seemed to me to be a little flat. Did you like the new version better? |

This is a very good image which does lend itself to a black-and-white treatment. You might try brightening the image up a little bit with some additional whites. Added contrast in my opinion would make the image stronger.
I wonder if you took any images of just the middle of this image. The spray of the water is in the middle and you might not need the four and the background tops of the mountain and sky to tell your story. I really like your image. |

I am envious of photographers that can get close enough to a dance scene to take photographs! This one really lends itself to black-and-white. The image might be able to utilize a little more contrast. I might add in a little more shadow and black. This is a really nice black-and-white image! |

I really like the image. I'm glad that you told me a real person was under the bonnet! The image is interesting because it makes you think about what it is. Strong blacks and whites and good contrast makes this a good monochrome shot. I wonder what is added to the image by the top of the table on the lower right hand portion of the image. I wonder if cropping that out or removing it might make a positive difference. |

I like the concept of using the eagle subject on a textured background. The eagle subject shot is exceptional. I'm not certain how I feel about having the texture only in the background. I think I would almost prefer seeing the texture throughout the entire photograph. I wonder what the original file as a black-and-white with no texture looked like. I bet it is really interesting! Really a good capture of an eagle. |

Love the image! Great background and detail of the subject. The mono version is a much stronger image. I lose the detail in the face and the green in the background in the color version grabs my eye. Both images are excellent! |
