Hi Richard. The closer crop has definitely lifted the image. I don't mind the figure in the background. He's not too distracting. I feel the blue sleeve is a little prominent. You could try darkening down or desaturating a little. The placement of his hands clearly shows that he is drumming. |

Hi Sophia. Beautiful image! I love the square crop and the eye level viewpoint. If you aren't intending to enter this into a nature or wildlife competition, you could try to remove that stick that is covering the babies - the one right at the very front. I know you couldn't do anything about that when you took it. There's lovely texture in their feathers. |

Hi Mark. I love the movement in the water. There's just enough to give it some energy and not be completely static. My eye keeps getting drawn to the seaweed/kelp on the right hand side. I think the more interesting image is on the left with the patterns and shapes of the water and rocks. A bit more of an abstract feel perhaps? |

Hi Pete. The escalator does work well as a leading line. There's definitely a story here! I think she might be just a little too far away. If she had been just a little closer, I think that would have put her more prominently into the scene. An idea worth exploring further! |

Hi Anna. I love the star burst. I think that the shadows in the rocks have been brought out a little too much. They could still be fairly dark because the focus is on the lighthouse and sunset. You've done well to capture this handheld! |

Hi Natalia. I love the flag idea. My only minor suggestion would be to perhaps darken down the edges slightly, perhaps with a very subtle vignette, to bring the focus even more into the 'cross'. The colours are lovely. |
