Hi Richard. I like the way the sign and road act as leading lines, taking us through the image to the temples. I think the landscape preset might be a little strong. The sky and grass feel a little oversaturated. Consider toning down the colour a little. There's some nice detail and texture in the temples. |

Hi Sophia. Your patience was rewarded! I agree the seagull and the fish together are the story. I think the main issue is the editing adjustments made to the fish. I think they need to be toned down a little. In the original image, the fish has lots of detail and you can clearly see the gills. In the edited version, a lot of this detail is gone. I think the square crop has worked well by bringing our focus to what's happening in the scene. |

Hi Mark. There's lovely detail and texture in the wings. You've done well to get the majority of the birds away from branches. I don't think that small one down the bottom is too distracting. I think it just needs a little highlight reduction on the bottom bird's body and the head of the top bird just looks a little 'muddy' to me. The background has been well handled and doesn't overpower the birds. |

Hi Pete. Still life is hard! You've done really well with the lighting and the fog gives it a mysterious feel. The rose and the teapot gives it an aged feel but, to me, the pears aren't old enough or spoiled enough to really complement the other objects. I wanted to see just a touch more 'spoiling', more in line with the rose. Hoping to see more of your still life! |

Hi Anna. I like the way you have left some movement in the water (rather than completing smoothing it out). That still gives the image energy. I think Mark's square crop works well but I can't really decide between the colour and the black and white. I think both work, but just in different ways! If you keep the black and white version, I think just a touch of toning down the highlights would lift it further. |

Hi Natalia. A very calm, peaceful scene. I agree with Mark's flip of the image. I'd also consider cropping just a little off the top. As well as toning down the highlights, perhaps a subtle vignette might also darken down the edges. The blurred background works well to bring attention to the toy house. |
