Thanks, Oliver. Yes, I think I like your edit. I think I tried to perhaps fit too much in. |

Hi Richard. A lovely image of your granddaughter. I do like the suggestion to crop in closer. I think if perhaps we could have seen more of your son or if he was bending down closer to her, that might have been more effective in terms of us being able to see their connection better. I love the expression on her face. It definitely fits the title. |

Hi Sophia. Wow, what a difference between the first and final images. You've really nailed it. The closer crop brings the man closer to us and allows us to focus on those eyes and the bats. Personally, I think the man without the bats would work really well too because there is so much wisdom in that face. But as a creative image, it's really different and unique. Well done! |

There's a great story here Mark. I love the way you've even been able to capture the cowboy with his feet off the ground so we know he is being thrown forward. Your post processing overall has worked well. I love the guy on the left. We can see his facial expression. I'm curious to see what it would like like without the RH clown in pink. It's just something to consider. |

Hi Oliver. I also enjoyed the layers. The waves act as leading lines that take us through the image to the mountains. The light is lovely and gives the image a soft and relaxing feel. I'd consider perhaps cropping a little off the bottom and perhaps adding a very subtle vignette to bring the focus more into the water and the hills in the background. I think your choice of colour palette works very well here. |

Hi Natalia. It looks like you actually got right in behind them so well done. You didn't try to take it from off to the side which would have been tempting in this situation! This has given us the viewpoint of looking straight down the road which I think is very effective. It would have been interesting to see what a front on view would have looked like. I do think that cropping off the top and right-hand side brings us closer to the action. I think we would then still see enough of the environmental context. |
