Great use of leading lines and repetition with the bikes - this really draws the eye down the alley and captures the feel of the place. The black-and-white choice works well for the textures and the mood. What's missing, though, is a clear focal point: right now, it's more of a setting than a story. A figure or a moment of activity would elevate the photo. |

The contrast between the man-made and the natural in this photo, as well as the rendering of steel, rust, and glass textures, is quite strong. The subject, however, feels ambiguous: is the photo about the mountains, the structure, or the interplay between the two? At the moment, it sits in between and doesn't fully commit. The composition of the original photo seems stronger. |
