Outstanding Image Fran. You careful editing makes this a keeper. Osprey's do not sit for very long. They are always on the hunt for food. So glad that you got this one in that perfect moment. The B/W is really that way to go compared to the distraction of the color image. Jerry

Dave. Great Cropping. Outstanding dodge and burn to open up the face of this beautiful dog. You did an excellent job controlling what we see. You are right. A thing white line would have been good. We all forget to do this. Me included. Love this image. Jerry |

I would never have thought that it was a school? Your approach of looking through a window gives it a very unique composition. I like how you kept the building level. That and then all the old junk in fore ground really give this a very historic memory.
Good work.

Sol, really beautiful results. This is also a good shot for Live Photo. If your camera settings are all on, you could focus on the feeder and just let the little birds fly around. Then in Live Photo (which is a 3 second video) and pick the best frame that you like. Burst mode would be another way to catch the action. Jerry |

Pam your little Mini sure has given you some beautiful images and this really is one of them. The water is beautiful. The Mountain is always majestic. Even in the bright sun light. You continue to find so many great images on the West Coast. Jerry |

Bob. I am so glad that you shared this image in B/W. It really gives a stronger image and gives clarity to your shot. Shooting out the window of you auto limits you ability to put everything the way you may have liked. This is really a very strong image.
Keep up the great work on your iPhone.

By moving the structure tool from right to left you get a softer look. Moving the structure to the right you get a very detailed look. |

Dave, Love your composition and angle of viewing. Really neat location for shooting this scene. Tack Sharp. After you explaining why there were so few boats and none going through the locks because of low water, I made a lot of sense.Jerry |
