I like you editing and consider going a little further.
I think Frans ideas are good. Your bluring the background is really good and go a little further and darken the background.
Capturing the Owl in flight is really outstanding.

Vince, I really like the sun burst light and the shadows. Very strong part of the image.
You could consider taking off the left side of the building and maybe the tree. I think this would become even a stronger image.

I love the boat in B/W. It shows the true age and character of the vessel. Love the bird sitting on the mast. Good catch.
You could consider cropping off some of the right side of the road and definitely the bottom of the frame.
I would also consider the 2 paper white spots in the clouds to the right and above the bird.

David, you really bring out the beauty of the bird sitting and singing.
You could consider removing the distracting branches on the right side. Being at the edge of the frame, it kind of distracts from the center of interest. My opinion.

I really like your image Fran. Taking out the dead tree was good.
This is such a strong image that I am not sure that any are all of the ice formation at the bottom of the image adds to this really great B/W rendering. |

Great Image Sol. You really come up with unique situations.
Frying the donut holes looks like fun and yummy.
Your capture of the event is excellent. Oatmeal or not. Did you get a taste?

Pam, your photos from the West Coast continue to speak to me.
Your little iPhone 12 Mini really takes sharp images and you really had good light. The sky was perfect with nice clouds.
Thanks so much for sharing the story along with the image. Excelling depth of field. |

Yes, many of this month's images have water featured. I also like the action of the fast flowing water and the green, water soaked branches. I keep wondering where you were located when shooting the image? Was there a bridge or something? I don't think you were standing in the water? Jerry

Nice capture Dick. I like how the flower is off center. Good composition. It is interesting how the water droplets are on the flower but not the background leafs.
Simplicity makes this a stronger image for me. You could consider the possibility of vignetting a little around the edges. Bob had a similar comment.

Love the image and story Dave. Driving all those miles to get a snow on the mountain is kind of like going after images that have a short time span. I have chased night scenes the same way and have come on the short end without a good image.
You really have had fun in you winter home in Arizona.
The Parked Car and the power lines really make for strong composition elements. You Western adventures have really come up with unique images. Jerry |
