Fran, I also like the B/W tones of the horses and reflection. The background seems a little over worked or something. I looks like you expanded the background above the horses from the original color image? Your call?
The horses, shadows are very strong. The strong foreground rocks are missing for me. Jerry

Ken, I always like the looks of these "Old Bib Boy" steam engines. To bad the you could not get a little steam coming out. I do understand you captured what was available at that moment in time. I think your dramatic clouds do help this B/W image.
You could consider taking just a tad off the right side? This takes the front of the train out of dead center? Just a thought. Jerry |

Kathryn, nice work. Very strong composition and the slight tilt adds tension that causes me to stay in the image longer.
I like the editing that you have done, but I want you to consider owning down the fender a tad. Otherwise, I would not change anything. Jerry |

Your conversion and editing make for a very dramatic scene. The dark clouds hold the eye in the electrical power lines. Super strong image. Jerry |

Another very strong image Paul. You abilities to use TK masks really helps this image Big Time!
I like the strong silhouette on the man. This makes it a great street photography image without details on who the man is. So sorry this image could no longer be taken. Jerry

Actually I twisted the image to give her head a tilt. Yes it is the same image. I come time go to the Public Library and check out coffee table books to study some of the great portrait photographers. Shooting tight head shots is really new for me. |

Dave, I like Fran's comment of compositional cropping. It does make a stronger image.
This is a keeper for your B/W images. Jerry |

Love your creative edits Sol. I never would have thought to add some kind of blur. This is really a big thing with LensBaby users. How much blur and where to put it always a hard decision for me. I usually get carried away and use too much. Your artistic decisions and love of mobile photography rules in your favor. Jerry |

Pam, another super landscape. I agree that you could consider a little cropping on the water at the bottom. You have more than enough foreground. It does not need to be as present as the beautiful sky, mountains and trees. Simply beautiful. Jerry |

Lynne, I like your choice of Dramatic B/W for this image. A wonderful app for both iPhones and Android. Your editing in the app really makes this a strong image.
This image is telling a story. Really is unique to find more male dancers than women.
This is really a strong image for me. It is kind of like one dancer showing or doing a demo with everyone watching with the instructor out of the scene. Jerry |

Bob, I am so glad you caught this child's toy. You could also create an Album of found things on the ground. We all need to look down, up and all around more like street photographers do. Jerry |

Dick, I agree with Sol. Not sure you need all of the bottom area. You colors are all over and great. The walkers really make the image tell story. jerry |

Wow Dave! Truly an incredible shot through you car window. Was anyone with you?
Amazing to get the windmill right over the cloud. That is a super random catch.
This image really tells a story of the vast areas that we drive through crossing the USA. This image goes in the family records.
I would just burn down a little the bottom edge. It pulls my eye off the image and wonder what I am missing? Jerry |
