Wow! Larry, At 62mm you were almost too close to the whale. Your final tonality works for me. Have you ever tried doing all of the Editing in Camera RAW?
I really like your final results. Your boat sure was close to the whale. Jerry |

Vincent, I think the B/W gives a better feel of the age of the building. I get even a stronger feel to the image if you would consider cutting off the bottom of the image just below the structure on the right. The bottom weeds and junk seem to distract from the structure which to me the important historical attraction. |

Nice editing Paul. This is a very strong image. With the little drummer boy trying to catch up and the older woman in the left side makes this image for me. I like the tonality that you achieved with the brick structure and also giving the tree in the right background more details worked. You sure were in the best location to catch the action of the marching group. Jerry |

Using the B/W sliders in Camera Raw was a great choice. Many folks forget to try this simple approach to converting. Outstanding tonality in the entire image. Bravo!

The B/W images really tell a story vs the color original. The tree on the left side is totally black and you may have wanted that look. The right side show more details.
You may want to consider removing the 2 large bright white spots on the center railroad tracks. On the B/W version they seem to distract rather than add to the image.
Your B/W version is a super improvement over the color image Dave. Jerry |

Sol, "Digi Scoping has been around for years. I sold my scope that cost about $500 plus dollars. They are really great for birding. Keep playing with your scope for some more final images.
I am a bit confused. The final large print above your home is so neat. Check it out. I think the roof goes up hill on the right side?
You could also cut off some of the top sky and have a great panoramic. Jerry |

What a great shot Pam. Been there many times and never got a shot this good. The golden light on Half Dome is truly outstanding. Make a print to share with family. Your 12 Mini sure hold everything together. Super location for shooting. Did you have a guide? Jerry |

I assume that you used the short tele lens. You are really close and got a wonderful image. Color are great. My eye seems to go down to the flower Pot and away from the beautiful Butterfly and flowers. You could consider cropping the bottom and a tad on the right side. Your call. Jerry |

Bob, love your exploration with Waterlogue. I have never tried technique you described. Do you feel that the image was improved with the extra work?
I hope you do more with this idea. I may even try it my self. Jerry

Beautiful Dick. What a special place. Super lighting with a great foreground, middle ground and background. Do a double check for me because I kind of see the water in the background going up hill a tad.
I am not sure how the winter would be on the island, but summers had to be outstanding. You really nailed a great scene. Jerry |

Dave, you sure are an adventure loving person. I hope you go on these dangerous paths with another person. I love the details of the path from up close and to the top.
Really sharp details and what a great background. As a viewer I think up a story, like where does this trail lead me? This image really has a story. Jerry |
