My back was to the wall. I should have used my super-wide lens. (similar to a 13 mm in a full frame camera.) |

Vincent, your dance image are getting better all the time.
I agree Topaz is better for what you are trying to control than Adobe. (My take on the issue.)
With the black background, I would put a white line to separate the image from the background. I really can not see that you have a square image? She is just floating in the air and that is OK. Presentation is very important.
Super image. Keep this up and you will be in so demand that you will not have time to do anything else. Jerry |

I do like the B/W version. It is a strong image and I am not distracted by the natural color. I also like the thin lines like water marks coming down from the top of the image. It really shows up better on the B/W conversion. I like how you capture the and left in the photo the imperfections of this old truck. Jerry |

Outstanding Dave. The bird really stands out from the background. Beautiful.
Pauls comment is worthy to consider. I know it would be un real and cheating in nature to add a little catch light in the of the bird.
You are really becoming an outstanding bird photographer. Jerry |

Yes Sol. The sun rays and people on the beach really make this an outstanding image. This is a keeper and should be printed. A thought. I would consider going to CanvasDiscount.com and get a large canvas print with a wrap on the frame.

Nice catch Lynne.
I tried to fix the tilt in the chimney? I used Snapseed Perspective and Expand tool and then Touch/Retouch clone tool to clean up the left side. Just an idea to add to your really great catch with the beautiful bird with wings ready to fly and get more food. I truly commend your hanging in there and shooting a enough frames to get this great shot. Jerry |

Bob, I love the old and the new. The old signage and the new bench and looks like a cig disposal? Also the upgraded paver blocks and artful landscaping.
Nice image. Jerry

Dick, I like both of the images. I like the soft milky water but if you like the raging flood waters the original really shows that off.
You could consider taking off the little green spot on the Live Photo version? Your call.
I guess my first choice would be the Love Photo version. There is lots of action that says flood to me. It is so easy to do and not have to calculate and try many versions. Jerry |

Interesting to get the chance to shoot while your wife drives. I actually do all the driving so I never have that chance.
I had never thought of using Distressed FX for turning into B/W. Sure enough, just move the color slider to the left and that is what you have. Question Dave. Did you wnat to take all the details out of the green trees in the background?
I like the B/W version. It is a strong image. Just wondering if you used Distressed FX first and Snapseed second if it would make a difference? |
