Nice image. There is a lot of early American History in this area of New Mexico and fighting between the Mexicans and US Calvary who tried to control the region. The part of fence was another sign of later battles ranchers and farmers. The ranchers wanted compete open range and farmers wanted to control where cattle were located. Even to this day there have been discord on government properties.
You captured the beauties and vastness of the western scene. Super tones. Jerry |

Steve, your editing really save this wide range of tones. For display purposes, a fine white line would better help me see the full image separated from the black background. |

Great tonality Paul.
I have a problem with your tight cropping at the top of the photo.
A very interesting area. Thanks for the story and history of the area. Jerry |

I have never seen a photo of this important scene before. You were so close to the rock formations and it seems like the image was shot with out a tripod. There is a lack of sharpness that I always see in your outstanding images. The clouds between the 2 left structures could have a little tonality?
Your adventures into a part of the world that I will never see is always a wonder to experience. Jerry

Nice catch Dave. Keeping the head and neck of the third bird really adds to this image. The creative frame is a little distracting to me. I would like to see a plain black line.
Wonderful white/grey tones in the birds. The feet and legs could be dodged a little.
You really got a quality image with your 300 prime and teleconverter. Jerry

Vincent, The B/W version is so much stronger than your original image. Good editing and making this image work. This is really an interesting building and using a stepladder is something that I would not have thought of.
The building is very unique in it's shape and perspective. Jerry |

Lynne, I have heard about locking padlocks on a fence in Italy. It is kind of a Love commitment between 2 individuals. The yellow rimmon hold the image together.
