39 Apr 20 Comment Outstanding image Larry. I would not change a thing. You seem to have everything going for a great B/W image. Your image is so good that I wish it were mine. The dark sky above the clouds on the upper right corner gives it the "Ansel" look. Love the old road and looks like a little snow by the cattle stop. Great foreground, middle ground and background. Love the trees on the ridge line on the top of the mountain. Apr 7th
39 Apr 20 Comment Old Faithful is always a challenge. Been there and tried. Nice that you did not get many people in the image. Larry's added sharpness does make for a real classic image. Apr 7th
39 Apr 20 Comment Really a very interesting location with a grand landscape. The light striking the road gives a very eerie feeling. The landscape just keeps on going. The strong foreground probably the 28mm lens helps give this image it's true impact. I like the effect. Apr 7th
39 Apr 20 Comment A nice study of doing a composite. These challenges are always fun.

Is this something you are going to hang on the wall? What would give more meaning to me? I do not know. I do like the torn threads in the jeans. Birds use these to build nests. Covering the entire background with the jeans makes for confusion to me.

39 Apr 20 Comment Very nice image. I probably would have kept the pole leaning to the right. Good contrast and the starkness of the image tells the story. Apr 7th
39 Apr 20 Comment Interesting comments. Larry I like your version with the AI software but it is not what is was after and what I tried to achieve.

I did a reverse Clarity (NIK callen it Structure) I was kind of searching for a mood that fit my feelings that morning. My doing a blur was very intentional in trying to create what I was feeling. I purposely made it soft, why not? I could have made it sharper with Structure and Sharpening but that was not my intent. Sharp does not show my intent even though I also like your version. I also like ICM (Intentional Camera Movement photography if done well. Give me some ideas on how to create a mood/feeling of a calm feeling in a moment of despair?

51 Apr 20 Comment Pamela, great landscape image. You were at the right place at the right time and caught this great scene. Bravo!

I am sure we will all be sheltering by next month. For sure in Illinois. I would not have been out but I need Toilet tissue. Why folks are hoarding it is beyond me.

51 Apr 20 Comment Dick, your sense of humor is coming out. Love it. I had to go to three stores this morning just to get toilet paper. Could not believe! Toilet tissue is very hard to do without. Years ago, my one grandmother had an old Sears Roebuck Catalogue in her out house. I was not fun.

May we all keep our sense of humor in these times and stay home. Carol made masks for both of us and we use gloves when we have to get out. The local grocery store is delivering things to us this coming Sunday. Out Tax accountant rode up on his bike and we hand our papers out through the storm door and he reported back to us the next day. Crazy times. Everyone Be strong and BE safe, Jerry

51 Apr 20 Comment Lynn, your Question on great mobile add on lens. The only ones that i would buy are the Moment lens. Go to their website. You will need their $30 protective case. Buy a new phone and all you will need is a new case and you are up and running.

Just an idea. Cut off the bottom of the photo and get more of a square image. I think by eliminating more of the bottom of the photo you get less distraction of nothing that adds to the image. It's means cutting off the one nice flower on the bottom left side. Jus an idea. Wow, what a great set if images by everyone.

51 Apr 20 Comment I agree, An incredible shot. I have never got that close to a bee but now I have a reason to try. I use selfie sticks all the time. Especially when something is down on the ground. I can get down but getting back up is not pretty! You had to be almost an inch from the bee. Was it the Moment macro lens?

I am assuming that you shot with the resident iPhone camera and then used ProCam 7 app for the editing? Am I correct?
