Super tonality. What is the most important part of this image you want the viewer to see? The wall or the tree? Which is more important to you? The wall is what strikes me. With so much of the tree cut off, if becomes of lesser importance. Does this make sense? Jerry |

I like the dark shadows. I can even see tones in the bright highlights. I assume that the door was leaning to the left side. Probably you could have leveled up the image a tad and nothing in the image would be destroyed? Your call. Jerry |

Great shot. You caught the decisive moment. You could think about burning down the arm on the left side of the image. Good lighting and your dancer was fresh and full of energy. Hope you gave her a copy. |

That was really a wet shoot. You were close to the cars and there had to be a spray. Wonderful tones Paul. |

I can not believe this image was hand held. Great job. You did a wonderful composition effect by lining up all the arches with the tower in the background. Wonderful tonality in B/W/. Jerry |

Thanks, I really overlooked hand in my editing. Dodging is no problem with the Snapseed app. |

I really like the B/W version. I probably would have darkened the edges a tad more. You need a little more dark tones in this image to give it a little more importance or strength? Hard to explain my feelings. I probably would have taken out some of the leaves on the grass. They just seem to add clutter? This is only my feelings. What do you like. Your feelings makes a difference. You commented that it looks artificial? Try a little more vignette and darken the grass a little more. Jerry |

Bond Falls. For years this was one of my favorite places to shoot large format B/W. I recently viewed an image on Facebook by Daniel Anderson at the Falls and it contrast with your Fall scene. Dan had snow and some ice with the water moving like your image. Sometime try your Live Photo and use the blur mode after shooting to try and "Soft Water" look. Next time! |

Wisconsin is a very different picture than the Chicago area. We have the warmest January on record. Nobody here is complaining. Tomorrow should be in the 50's where as last year it was - 21F.
Your snow is nice and bright. Walking in knee deep show is a great workout. Dave you have got to be super shape.
I have seen winter scenes from Door County and the ice formations this year are unbelievable. Jerry |
