I have no problem with the dog. I read the title and looked for the dog. Paul Hoffman is a master of Luminosity Masks. Besides Tony K's work, new and easier and less complex panels are available. I will find out and get back to everyone.
I really like the sharpness and depth of field that you got with F 3.8?
except the for the center building in the background, you achieved outstanding tonality. |

I like the image. I also have tried similar images and threw them out. They all looked dirty. So many little spots? The back large area could use a little more tone. A thin white line would show where the image starts and stops. |

I am sure that you captured many frames and picked out the best frame for your show and tell. Stage lighting is wonderful if done properly. This lighting was not the best as you pointed out. They woman sitting down could use a tad of dodging on her face. A thin black line around the image would help define where the image starts and stops. |

Here is the original image. I tried my best with my style of editing and somewhat limitations that I put on the image. I have not printed the image, but the photo will stand up on 8.5X11 paper. You are correct, it is a tight cropping. I also really need to darken the light spot on the left side. Yes I did blur some of the background and foreground on both sides. Many thanks for you ideas and suggestions.
She could not stop moving and I could not really communicate to her as she entertained a small audience. Harvesting a frame out of the video really works. |

What a start to the race. Glad you tell the story. Also makes taking the photo even more tricky. Yes, take out the man under the Camel's legs.
I am sure that you held the button down for multi images in just a few seconds. For situations like this situation I have been taking videos in 4K and 30 frames a second. Then harvesting off a single frame. I get more images to select from and the quality in not compromised.
With a 24mm lens, you must have been in a very dangerous location?
You really got great tonality of the hide of the beast. |

David, I like the image both in B/W and Color. I am distracted by the bottom of the twig. Suggest you think about burning it down. Squared cropping would help giving a simpler look. This is all very subjective. I really like the tonality you achieved in the eyes and the long tail. The top right wing really has the best light. I like the shine. The left 2 wings need a little clarity or sharpening. |

The wheels and background make this image for me. The tight cropping must be for a reason? The derails on the bike and rider are tack sharp. |

Yes and a oddity in such a beautiful area. Your creative frame also adds to the oddity that you captured. |

Lots of action, colors and you caught it all.
Is that little spot in the left part of the sky a bird, helicopter or something?
You framing of the action make for good composition for me. |

I like the minimalist look to the image. Many times less is more and that floats my boat.
You could consider a tiny crop off the top of the image. The edges need to match the rest of the image. Just a suggestion. |

Dick, I love how your having so much fun with that little camera in your pocket and the wonderful app (our tools) to create to our hearts desire. Why not. Adults can have fun just like the younger folks. Even before I looked at the original, I knew that your image was something about food. Very original. |

What a difference Dave. Snapseed with it's Preset and tools with individual controls is still our greatest mobile editing tool. Thanks for showing the before and after. |
