I shot the barn a few years ago and low clouds were covering part of the mountains. You had a much better day. You must have burned down the roof of the barn or it aged real fast? Just 4 years ago they replaced the roof and it looked out of place with the age of the barn.
The top part of the facing side seems a little out of balance with the logs on the bottom? Again, my previous two visit very different then the view you caught. |

Just a side comment about taking this image and the situation to get this image. First I had to pay $50 too have unlimited abscess to the prison that is terrible decay. I had to have a hat on breathing mask similar to what surgeons wear. The dust and lead paint falling everywhere was incredible. I used a rubber bands to rap around my long pants over high hiking boots and a long sleeve shirt with a neck scarf covering my neck. I also had to sign a hold harmless cause for the city of Joilet, Illinois. The place was a breeding ground of germs and cancer causing dust all around. I had my Lumix G9 ready to shoot and never took it out of the camera bag that was wrapped with a plastic bag and tied. A very dangerous place to take photos. Used my iPhone and got out of there as fast as I could and had someone with an air compressor blow me off, wash my hands and changed clothes in a portable toilet and hosed off my hiking boots before getting into the car. |

To catch a scene and not edit is wonderful. It is so hard for me to not edit. I probably would have gone in snapseed and just clicked on Vignette without any pushing beyone the default. Possible a move to just -25. Jerry |

Like the show and tell of the short life of the flowers. A good order of the images also. Light at different times of the dayana the kind of light really makes a difference as seen in you shots. Thanks. |

This works for me. The old adage. "If it isn't broke, don't fix it." |

I like both images Dick. You could consider toning down the bottom of the photo to match the original. Just a tad. Another idea? would be to cancel the HDR look on the reflection? Use that Snapseed trick to only do the buildings and sky? Jerry |

Wonderful editing Dave. Love the outstanding result. Good jog getting the perspective fixed and the DistressedFX gave the look of the old water tower. The bend in the river running through the scene add to everything. |
