Thanks everyone for the comments. Arian is correct. I should not use an attempt project as a show image for my best work. My father use to say, you can not make a Silk Purse out of s Sows Ear. And then try this on mobile devices that have challenges doing what we can do on Photoshop. No it is not a great image but an attempt to do something with the man with his hands folded. Showing my errors in masking with a new iPhone app really did not do this image justice. I agree. Jerry |

Recording every day humor is wonderful and so easy with the camera in our pocket. Honors to you Sol for doing it and sharing. We all need humor in our daily lives. Keep up the great work of Mobile Photography. |

Sure makes a nice artistic rendering. The colors on the bison are so unique. I need to look into Prisma. Thanks for sharing your use of apps. I love how many ideas that you have generated in my mind. We all learn so much from each other. |

Lynn, nice job getting the docent in among the grave stones. 300 years old? Wow! This could only be in New England or the Eastern states.
The only suggestion would be to think about darkening the bright white from the fence and direct sun lit stones? Love the costume and the story telling jesters of the woman acting out history. |

Your very realistic and sharp photo has a nice tonality for B/W with a full range of tones. This could be a start of a collection of railroad engines parked all around the country?
I do not have a problem with the square format. The thin white border really helps. |

Dick, what apps were your secret ingredients to get these effects? You have great lighting balance in the final result. One idea to consider as a possibility is to slightly darken the two triangles of the floor and the ceiling. Just a tad. |

Dave, first I like your editing of this really neat image. The shadow details on the dark side of the barn are excellent. I also like the balance of the trees and the barn.
If you want to change the round sun coming through the trees, you can use Lens Distortion or other apps to get the starburst effect that you want. The other options would be to use Touch/Retouch and clone out the roundness. Jerry |
