Lois, love this image. Never been to Basel in all of my trips to the country where my family is from. Almost every Music store carries our family Name in Switzerland.
Your image has outstanding compostiton and detailed textures that work for me. You seem to capture just what the designer had in mind.
Great natural lighting. Jerry |

Yes, another wonderful Dunes image. I am not sure why, but I also like the bottom 2/3s of the image. I think it is because I am drawn to simplicity of your strong image and the very top is very busy and does not seem to work for me. Jerry |

DAVID, I love this image. Sharp as a tack and brilliant tonality. That Chipmunk just jumps out of the photo. Good blacks and wonderful controlled highlights. Bravo! |

Thanks Dave. I took the contrast higher on the Barn and the fenced in area and I do like the change it made. Great suggestion.
(Side note - your Spring migrating color shot s of birds in MN are great. I was wondering how you like the fixed focal length lens with the tele extender vs the 100-400 lens on your Micro 4/3 mirrorless equipment?)
Thanks for showing them on the PAS facebook site.

I can see why one can feel the emotional impact of what happened. Old mines are very scary places. You could consider burning darker the bottom highlighted area a tad. |

Great treatment Sol. I love the use of blurred areas. It gives a more aged look to the image. Then the humorous attachment on the dash adds to the catch. So glad you had the iPhone in your pocket. |

This is one to hang up on your studio wall and you do not have to worry about dusting off the collection. Collecting old cameras takes up room and this image says it all for me. Excellent even lighting. |

This is a fun image. The sharp reflection says it all. I must try this one! Did you try the wine before you shot the image? Just kidding. |

I love fog photography and dash out of the house every time I see fog or know it is coming. Fog simplifies any scene. Wonderful image. |

Great angle and beautiful sky. Was that the Moment super wide or Moment fish eye lens? What ever lens you used it is effective. I have the super wide but have never tried an angle like this. Great colors and sharp as a tack. |

It was an very unusual sky. Yes, I could have softened the sky by using the masking effects in Snapseed.
The Red barn wood on the left side was showing the effect of the East Side where the sun hits in the morning. The right side looks newer probably because it faces the north and no direct sun. It could have been painted and they never got around to painting the East side? Barn wood and especially the beams and large supporting timbers bring a very high dollar amount. These hand cut wood is used in real expensive log homes. No nails were used. All peg and hand cut connections. |

Very nice Dave. Great evening shot. When the sun goes down I am sure that it really gets dark there. No lights? |
