Wonderful image Lois. This is the kind of image that you never get tired of . It may not be a contest image where the judges are rushing and look for 3 seconds. That had to be a dream like view from your balcony that will last a lifetime of memories. My eye stays in the photo and looks for everything that was captured. Thanks for sharing that moment of time when you saw this scene. Here is whereyour radial filter is so important. The hard task is what to change, how much and where. I sometimes finish one of these and klook at it for a week and then go back and change spots in the clouds and areas to control the highlights and shadows. Wish I had taken this photo. Jerry

I really like how you get high contrast and yet have good tones in the back sides of the flowers. Very strong image Kit. Jerry

Very tasteful use of Luminosity masks Paul. I have the TK materials and need to read and try them out. For sure after seeing this image and others that you have been showing. Any learning materials that you would recommend to me. Jerry |

Interesting, I thought there was a border around the image? Must have screwed up? Thanks for the input Dave. |

Great shot. The tele setup really pulled the tree and the lighthouse together visually and both are sharp enough for my eye. Great tonality throughout Dave.
PS Where did you get tele-extender for the Micro 4/3? What brand and what strength? I am very interested in checking this out. Jerry |

What a great idea Sol. You always come up with unique and creative images. What a pleasure to be in this fun group where we are not hung up on winning contest but rather doing creative photography and sharing with each other techniques and applications.
Thanks also to you Dave for spearheading this unique study group.

Even though the building is abandoned, you can see the wonderful craftsmanship of the builders. So glad you were able to get this shot. I am looking forward to more images of your Ghost Town visits. Jerry |

Wonderful collage but more important your beautiful garden. That is a lot of work and love. Thanks so much for sharing. I am in high admiration for your skills both in photography and your garden design and organization. Wow! Jerry |

I like how you found a way to get above the outdoor furniture and capture the shadows as well as the design in the concrete. One idea you could consider is a slight burning of the edges. The top of the photo sort of leads you eyes out of the image. Very creative capture.

I like the treatment of the model and of course the beautiful background and the base of her dress etc. The smudge tool and your skilled hands did the trick. Jerry |

Great PJ action shot. Wonderful colors and you caught the painter with the brush on the wall. I also like your angle with the resulting perspective. Jerry |
