A gorgeous and unusual Christmas picture - what an idea to have a decorated, lighted tree in the middle of a river! Appreciate the backstory about the epic storm; that is certainly part of the story in the picture. Love the misty look, and the beautiful reflections on the water; those shimmery reflections are delicious!. Great job on lifting the tones and colours; complement the storm behind. |

Wonderful timing (and, I love your caption!) Beautiful color contrasts between the cool hues (bubble, upper sky, and water) and the warm ones in the lower sky/sun. I like that there is just enough shadow detail in the buildings to make them interesting. The bubble and sun are nicely framed to complement each other.
Just a thought - perhaps raising the luminosity of the bubble to make it just a little more contrasty with the sky in the background? |
