Definitely a science fiction feel here! You managed to make a beautiful composition, as well. The color combinations are pleasing and somehow soothing. And i'm fascinated by the shadowing on the larger regions, which give it a sense of depth/ |

Wow! I left my native city in 1991 and the skyline has changed so much! Nice to see the Empire State building is still there, though. When I left, the West Side in the foreground was mainly a railroad yard, with low buildings containing freight firwardders and ship chandlers for what was a working but declining harbor. All ocean going trade is in the Port of Newark now.
As far as technicalities, I'll go with everything David said. |

Great image. I love the curve of the neck and the reflection in the water. The only that I wish you had done is to darken the disracting dead branch behind the egret. See the comment image. |
