Morrie, great image, well timed and well thought out. And you remembered to stop way down to get the sun-star! |

Wow, It's macro month at Group 49! Beautiful detail, but I echo David's thoughts about burning in the stem. As it is, it leads out of the picture. |

Really excellent tonal control, and a perfect exposure. Although the composition is already good, would it help to crop it horizontally or square instead of vertical? |

Josh, amazing shot, and the high-key really works here. |

Mark,
If you are using Ligtroom, you can do some rudimentary retouchng. Here, I cropped the image a little more tightly. I then used the Remove tool to delete the hand and violin of the woman on the left. I them selected the background and darkened that area, I then used the brush tool to select the french horn and darkened it slightly and reduced the highlights. If you'd like to see this demonstrated, e-mail me off-line and I will arrange a mutually satisfactory time to set up a Zoom call (it's free) so you can share my screen. |

Cindy, great moment and vivid colors. Howevver there's a lttle too much going on here. You could have used Lightroom to mask the bacckground, and then darkened it. You could then experiment with Lightroom's Remove tool to erase the wood chunk blocking the red bird. |
