Gotta get me some of that Palouse! my wife and are planning a trip there next May. One of our neighbors was born and raised there, and he's spent a generous amount of time poring over maps with me, outlining a shooting schedule.
You've done a great job in choosing your time to give the maximum amount of contour to the hills, And I like your composition. I would second the suggestion to clone out the that lone tree on the left, and perhaps the two utility pole next to it.

A truly spectacular image. After saying that, I wonder what it would look like if you opened up the shadows a bit, I would have appreciated a little more detail in the mountains, and I think the underside of the clouds are perhaps a little too dramatic |

Hi Josh, I'll wait while you take the call from National Geographic on the other line. I like the image without the extra cropping since the bottom flower adds even more depth. |

I don't know which I love more, the magnificent colors or the peek-a-boo pose of the lizard. Truly great! |

Thanks for the suggestions, especially regarding the tree trunk. If I had stepped slightly to my left, I would have avoided the problem entirely, but alas, there was another tree next to me! |
