Well, the effect I was going for was the effect I got, not much more to be said. |

BTW, here's the Amazon link for the Godox diffuser I mentioned. It includes an adaptor that will fit most speedlights? https://smile.amazon.com/Diffusion-adapters-Diffuser-Compatible-V860III-S/dp/B09PBL15YK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=96YCJSDJQ8Q9&keywords=godox+diffuser&qid=1673917730&sprefix=godox+diffuser%2Caps%2C103&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzT0FZWVdaOUI0QkNMJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDMyNDIxMjNBUURGUE5YN1dJSiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjM0MzU1MU41Szk4SlhPUUtQRiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= |

It's interesting, I just taught a Lightroom class in my local camera club, and some one else was telling me how he much preferred Aperture. |

Although I like the metaphor of ascending from dark to light, I think this iamage is a bit too contrasty. You might be able to help by reducing the overall contrast, or, if necessary, using local masking to lighten up the ground floor shadows slightly, and then to reducce the whites and highlights on the upper floor. |

I recently got a Godox flash sphere, which is a big silicone plastic ball that comes with adaptors for both Godox flashes and most shoe mount flashes. It provides a nice soft light and costs about $30.
But let's see what can be done with what we have. I took your image into Photoshop, used the object selection tool to select the mom and boy, then inverted and applied a Radial Blur with the Zoom option. I think it gave a feeling of movement. Not subtle, but it is fun! |

Good scene, but the composition is perhaps a little too lined up. I don't feel the middle stack should cut the line of the distant shore. Angling your shot up or down might have helped avoid this.
Also, judging fron the noticeable halos around the sea stacks, some local correction might have been applied to open the shadow.
My method to obtain the missing separation would be to make a LR Mask for the far shore and then to lighten that area to make the daarker sea stacks stand out. |

To agree with David, your corrections to this image were exquisite. You've created several layers, from the hill in the back, to the lighter, further trees, to the dark close trees. A dificult subject, well and subtly handled. |

I like how the aerial haze separates and softens the mountains. The composition is good, with the smaller closer slope on the left being balanced by the mountains on the right. And you shot it with a Canon, not an iPhone! Hmm.. Holiday present? |

I have another image that took it in a different direction. No bright greens here! |
