I am not trying to document the bird capturing the snake. I am trying to show the emotional impact of the event. I am not documenting the event as seen but instead to show the color, texture and action that creates the emotion of the event. The terror of the snake and the satisfaction of the bird. To do this I felt bringing out a great deal of detail was needed. |

Terrific sequence. Well composed and edited. ISO 11400? That is pretty high but with a modern camera and software it worked out fine. Nice work. You were a long ways from home!
Did you see flamingos in the reserve? I read that the area is noted for them. |

I would love to get a shot of an owl like this. But I am still looking and hoping. This shot could use some sharpening though. I did some editing: sharpening, brightening eyes, vignette around owl and replacing the background.
Are you still using the Canon EOS 60D? |

Pretty bird. Well edited. The dark background and light foreground make for a striking image. Good detail in the bird and its reflection. Very nicely composed. |

Very nice editing with reflection. I like the detail in the bird. I am sure you had to wait patiently until he got his fish. |

Terrific! The image is a bit busy with all the distractions but the story makes it ok. Nicely edited. |
