This excites me to visit Canon Beach more often as i live not far away. I think the image is a bit over brightened. But the action is wonderful. I did a little work to create more contrast without losing much detail. |

A lot of distractions in the image. I try to never exceed 20 degrees above eye level. Increasing color and contrast would help. |

Your picture sure documents their tiny "wings". The way they swim unwater I think they are better fish than birds. The background shows how adapted they are to their environment. Unless you cropped a bunch you must have been fairly close at 105mm. |

Nice capture. I have not yet been able to get a good shot of these guys. So far they are too fast for me. But I have not given up. I appreciate how difficult it is to shoot them. And two of them at one time interacting. Good work. |
