Not on a tripod. Not allowed to leave car in the refuge. Had lens resting on a bean bag over window edge. |

Great catch. Maybe not cropping so close so we can see all the hoppers feeler or cloning the end of it out. It running of the screen diverts my eye away from the action. |

T think this is great. I can see the bird thinking over the jump or not to jump. Your story takes me there with you. Not much color and the bird kinda merges into the rock but that is ok with me. |

Nice image. Perhaps a little more separation from the background. A vignette would make the Barbet stand out more. I live on the opposite side of the world yet we get to share. How nice! |

Wonderful image. I also prefer to get birds in action (hunting, fighting, mating, taking off, etc). You nailed this one. |

Nice action shot. It is the repeating patterns that really makes this image. This is what they do. They will often leave in mass in the morning to migrate to a feeding area. It is something to behold. It is also a very noisy event. |

Lovely shot. Beautiful presentation. It is not clear that one is preening the other but I assume so. I think bringing out a little more brightness and color to their eyes would make the image even more impactful. |
