Very nice image with the interaction between mom & baby. Maybe I would have toned down the high lighhts in the water some or do a vignette around them. I like the mom's eye. Maybe add a little blue to the water. But very good capture. |

I tried to separate the bird and fish from the background. I did a blur on the background to give a sense of the birds motion. I used a number of tools including Hue & Saturation to change to water color a bit, Topaz Clarity to bring out detail on the bird's body and more color & contrast & PS Highs & Shadows. |

Wonderful image. The bird seems to smile at the viewer, pleased with his catch. I am sure that your editing had much to do with the quality of his image. Having shot spoonbills in the wild I think I would have added a little saturation to the birds legs and bill. I attached my version with a little more color. But maybe this species isn't as colorful. Nice work. |

While not artistic it does a good job documenting what you experienced. I have never had the opportunity to get very close to these guys. They are so big! They don't spend much time on land and getting one of them with egg is special. |

Very nice. Getting the Dowitcher actively hunting is special. I like the vignette or at least it appears to have a vignette. I would be proud of this image. Well composed and edited. |
