15 Apr 26 Comment Wonderful shot of a very seldsom bird Grace. I have made a few changes for your consideration . I separated the owl from its background and darkened the image , slightly on a separate layer. Lightened the tree also slightly on another layer. I also gave those beautiful eyes a lift. Trust it is to your liking. Apr 6th
15 Apr 26 Comment Great shot Gloria and the colours and focus is well handled on the bird. You do not say whether you have captured the image in RAW.? My suggestion would be to reduce the lighter tile surrounding, which is distracting. The bird has a dark eye and needs to "livened" up ,by creating another non destructive layer to bring out the eye detail. Apr 6th

15 Apr 26 Comment A lovely picture story, in it's natural nesting environment. The exposure and focus is excellent. White coloured birds in a darker surrounding can play havoc with metering, which you have handled well. My only suggestion would be to try and get more feather detail from the RAW file, on that white plumage ? Apr 6th
15 Apr 26 Comment Doug, personally the image appears to be over processed digitally, hence the "painterly" effect, appearance. It would be helpful if you can post the original , so that recommendations ,if any, can be suggested. Apr 6th
15 Apr 26 Comment Great shot Sarita ! Focus ,exposure ,composition and colouring is outstanding . The feather detail is great. Apr 6th

56 Apr 26 Reply Thank you for your comments regarding my submission Marevi . It will be greatly appreciated to hear your recommendations iro my photographic attitude using the different cameras I use, the expression of the people photographed, how do you recommend I correct the cropping. ? Your suggestion that I should only enjoy the coffee and not use my iPhone , is a little bit personal and unasked for and detracting
from the essence of the objective of the group. I am, as you are, in this group for constructive and objective critique .

56 Apr 26 Comment This image shouts "gentleman" and is full of expression and very sharp. One wonders what that intelligent look signifies. ? The environment enhances the image. Personally I have never seen such an elaborate neck and back brace. Well captured Martin Apr 14th
56 Apr 26 Comment Your coloured image does it for me as the mono one is too "muddied" and not easy on the eye, so to speak. So my personal suggestion is to stick with the coloured version alternatively go with Marevi's recommendation on the mono adjustments. Apr 14th
56 Apr 26 Comment Hi Trey, I tend to agree with what has been said and have nothing more constructive comments and or suggestions. Apr 14th
