Good focus and good exposure Grace resulted in a sharp clear image against a bright background. |

Thank you Vivek. The fish's eye is already glazed over as it is dead. ? |

A good clear and focussed image Vivek. Please give us more detail on the bird and the camera settings used. Welcome to the group. |

Great shot Doug and very well timed with the one eagle in flight. My thought on your post processing is that you went slightly "over the top" with your sharpening as there is a definite distortion in the eagles faces and making the neck plumages look unnatural.? The long focal distance (trust it was on a tripod) could also contribute to distorted detail. ? A very good image non the less. |

Very nice composition of two lovely birds. It is a great pity that you have lost so much feather detail . Is it over exposure or is it due to a large crop ? Nice interaction between the birds with your crop applied. |

A very busy image indeed and well captured. Thanks for sharing this image which is not the usual single focussed photograph. Using a tripod ensured a clear sharp image. From the image on my monitor it would appear some over exposure on the white wings of the geese ? Would it have improved at -0.3 EC or try and rectify it in camera RAW ? |

Thank you Isaac. It pays to be patient and wait as one blends with the environment and the birds get used to the stationary vehicle. With a window Kirk bracket and a Wimberly arm it ensures "easy follow steady camera and lens " support. The Pied Kingfisher is somewhat smaller than the Giant Kingfisher ( May submission). The difference is in the "hunting". The Giant Kingfisher perches and dives to strike where as the Pied Kingfisher hovers before striking. One can only imagine the strength of of the Pied Kingfisher diving below the surface, spearing a fish, re surfacing and take off to a nearby tree. |

This is a great "emotional"scene but you missed the real essence of the message by not including the note that tells the story. Also suggesting that the image be straightened . Very well seen and a great street scene . |

Very unusual but personally, amputations do not work for my inexperienced view point, as far as street photography is concerned. I find that the "out of focus people in the background ", do not contribute to the scene and is distracting to my personal point of view.? As I get educated along the way, I could possibly be shown different ways of looking at street images. |

Well seen and framed Tom. The sky does not do justice to the image and my recommendation will be to tone it down a tad. ? |

A great shot Cisco. I love it and it depicts exactly what one would define as "street photography". The head appearing from behind adds to the scene. Well done. The colour version could be of interest and to compare with the mono version.? |

The mono version of this abstract subject is the correct choice and places an emphasis on the "lines" of it. Nicely seen. |
