Hi Cindy, let me start by saying that your brush technique is outstanding as usual.
My first reaction is that you have created an altered reality painting with your artistic mind.
My personal perception is that I would have made the torso of the dancer with her hair more visible/brighter as with her shoes and legs .
One should ask what it is that attracts your attention to this artwork. Is it the dress or the legs and shoes ? My opinion and and hopefully helpful. |

Wonderful paint strokes and I agree with Cindy's comments and her recommendation. You can add a bit more sparkle to this lovely cat's face by applying a slight dodging to the eyes to make them brighter/alive. Nicely seen and well presented. |

Welcome back Nancy. You certainly have not lost your touch at all . You saw a potential in a relatively busy photo and made it into a painting of note. I agree with Cindy's comment about the hanging branch and think that your artwork would not miss it should you leave it out. Excellent work though. |
