Excellent Cindy is really all one can say. You made this Egret portrait come alive and rescued the poor thing from the archives. You created a lively image with an abundance of character and that eye says everything. The exposure is spot on and the detail in the white plumage of the bird nicely depicted. Well done. |

I do like sketch work and you have done a sterling job out of it - congratulations. Do you think you could end with an even stronger image if you concentrated on the "Plymouth" only ?
Just wondering ? |

Hi Pat, please forgive me for messing with your original image. After reading what Cindy suggested and admiring your iris, I opened it in PS. I extracted the flower from the back ground and applied the oil paint filter, inserted a blank white layer back ground and filled it with a cloud back ground after creating a painterly effect to it. Only my personal view and how I envisaged it as the shadows do look out of place in your new back ground. |

What a lovely young lady, congratulations !
I can not add anything more than what Cindy hasn't noted already as skin texture and tones are very challenging. Your attempt is awesome. Well done. |
