38 Apr 19 Comment It is a beautiful flower Marge and the colors are brilliant ! However your depth of field let you down, which is notorious with closeups like this. Very little of your flower is in focus and will be the downfall in a photo competition. Focus stacking is the way to go should you choose to get more of the flower in focus. If you only want the Centre and immediate surround you will have to narrow your d.o.f.. Apr 13th
38 Apr 19 Comment Your presentation in mono is a very good option. A very nice landscape. You are not mentioning your camera settings? Art suggestions are very good and I agree with his recommendation. Apr 13th
38 Apr 19 Comment Your camera settings are very good but have not noted on the type/spec lens you used ? With birds and all wildlife it is impossible to get the "pose" you wish for and yours did not oblige as Art commented . The bird's head is absorbed by a very mottled background and there is no bird's eye showing which blends the head with the background to some extent. The rest of the bird is sharp. Better luck next time Apr 8th
38 Apr 19 Comment Very creative as usual Kerstin.👌 Apr 8th
38 Apr 19 Comment Well done Art! Easy to say so now, but I do agree with Barbara. You really captured the moment ! Apr 8th
38 Apr 19 Comment A very good panning image Sunandan. You can even end up with a better image by "lighting " up the driver. Well done. Apr 8th
38 Apr 19 Comment Thank you Art much appreciated. Apr 8th

56 Apr 19 Reply Many thanks Pat. It appears that my images take more time to complete. I find creating a scene or whatever subject I decide upon, very therapeutic and develop the final looks to my liking. ? I enjoy the comments from the group- good or otherwise. Apr 28th
56 Apr 19 Reply Many thanks Nancy for your input. Much appreciated. Apr 28th
56 Apr 19 Comment Well done indeed, and after I looked up " Snap Art" I understand the description and process better. Nice painting Apr 13th
56 Apr 19 Comment Your composition and coloring is very good and you have created a nice painting from a fairly flat original.
My only suggestion is that the greens should be toned down ever so slightly which will make the flowers pop even more.
Well done Pat.

56 Apr 19 Comment Very inventive and thank you for sharing the process. You have done so well by using a "wind blown" image and turning it into a beautiful painting. It is great that you have one hanging in the community center- congratulations. Apr 10th
56 Apr 19 Comment Your painting is excellent and you have mastered the wall and texture to perfection. As a suggestion I would have liked the crop to include the shutters on the right. Shutters are always great to paint and to make your overall painted image complete by its inclusion ? Apr 10th
