Phyllis I am of the opinion that your original tells more of your title and the monochrome effect is most suited. Well done ðŸ‘ðŸ |

A great shot Marge and the well exposed colors are spot on. Unfortunately the camera can not handle all the contrast in your image and perhaps bracketing could be the answer. In post processing and if you use PS, you could create an empty layer and clone out some of the high spots with no or very little detail/data. |

A very good exposed image, especially on the white fur. I like the orientation as is. Well done.
I agree with Marge's comments re your lack of participation? |

Lizette your original photo has a highlight in both eyes.? I am not experienced enough to give you the correct advice on human face painting but have read the group's call with interest. My question would be on the "amputation " of the original photo?
Nancy's comments are very good? |

Very creative and effective. I must agree that the "swirl" detracts from your magnificent creation. Maybe you can try and clone in more of the falling fire works ? |

I like your original image which is really sharp and showing off the magnificent feather detail and a sharp eye. My suggestion is photoshop (as I know little else) working in layers and in its original capture size. You background is perfect but you can really make that feather detail "pop" and retain the sharp eye . Finally I will apply unsharp mask . My penny's worth. |
