A good unassuming image and very well presented in mono. I agree with Art that you should flip the image for a stronger composition.I will not crop it . I like your insight to capture this image. |

Taking a white bird in flight is not always the easiest exposure and you have done exceptionally well. I also like the mono color as the main subject, the Great white egret, is already white, is a good choice.
Well done Marge. |

Well done Kerstin and setting your aperture at f8 ensured a sharp image front to back. You did not tell us what the focal length was? This is an excellent bird portrait. |

I like the moment and the crowd of your image. The frame at the start is good and as a suggestion it would have been even a stronger image if you stepped back and included more of the frame. Well done . |

Thanks Art. Cropping is done to a specific ratio and most photo salons on a 16:9 ratio basis. The horizon line is the reflection of the water in the background.j I appreciate your input and suggestions though. |

You certainly got the waterfall flowing to your desired effect. I found that using adjustments and "shadow and highlights" in PS. brings out a lot of shadow detail from where you could start the painting process ? The contrasts are excellent and my suggestion would be to build on that by bringing out more detail. |

You have rendered a very good painting effect Cyril. The partial amputation of the tree by the foreground rock looks rather awkward and I think it is detracting from the overall scene. ? I don't know how you could improve on the scene other than changing the angle to show the whole tree or paint out the foreground? |

Your image is very pleasing and the sky in the background has a nice tone and painterly effect. I suggest that you could brush/paint the trees and foreground some more to enhance the painting effect and show less of the photographic properties.? |
