38 Jul 17 Comment A nice telling composition with these birds Peter. I am very surprised to see that the Heron is in such a close proximity of the Eagle and not fleeing off. In SA I have witnessed our Fish Eagle attacking and killing a Heron and then proceeded to devour it.
Well done and your camera settings were spot on for flying birds and action.

38 Jul 17 Comment Very well seen Marge and one can see that you have given it a lot of thought. I agree with Art on brightening up the image to give it even more impact. Your composition is great. Well done. Jul 13th
38 Jul 17 Comment You are just so inventive Kerstin.(and romantic I might add). Well done. Jul 13th
38 Jul 17 Comment Excellent shot Art. The title is very apt. Good out of focus background makes the "skier " pop.! Jul 13th
38 Jul 17 Comment Thanks Art. The cropping can be a bit tricky at times when one has to maintain the correct ratios for projections to fill the frame correctly. Normally it is a 4:3 or 16:9 ratio depending on the requirement. The rotation suggestion is good but against it is subjective? Jul 13th
38 Jul 17 Comment As far as a telephone image goes you have achieved your objective and the image is nicely lit and colorful. I doubt that one would get a much better image worthy of carting the gear around.?
I believe that the telephone camera and its capabilities is a subject on its own and good for traveling and shooting trivialities. Maybe it is worth considering a " telephone camera division " group?

38 Jul 17 Comment A nice colorful image Craig. The dark background makes the flowers pop. I agree with Art on toning the greens down a tad and if you wanted to correct the amputated leaves then Art has come up with a good suggestion as per his insert. Jul 13th

62 Jul 17 Reply Thanks Tom much appreciated Jul 24th
62 Jul 17 Comment Thank you for enlarging it. Very good. Jul 24th
62 Jul 17 Comment Your Dandy Burst artwork looks good Tom. I do not know exactly how you achieved it and whether you applied brushes or not? Is auto painter a plug in or a software program on its own.? Nice effort. Jul 14th
62 Jul 17 Comment I like what you have done with your sky in the background Elinor. Your end result of water coloring looks good. I would have liked to see a bigger picture than the one submitted as the projection on my screen is fairly small? Jul 14th
62 Jul 17 Comment I certainly like what you have achieved Gloria and the adding of leaves completes the artwork. Well done. Jul 14th
62 Jul 17 Comment You certainly spent an awful time consuming effort to get that "famous " tree cut out from the original image.
I love your new background and the way you have painted it.
I also like your composition and you should not be defending your choice and artistic viewpoint.
The tree is too much , my viewpoint, like the original photograph and it looks as if you cut and pasted the tree on the beautifully painted background?
My thoughts are that you could use your creativity to transform the tree to suit the creative background.
