If I may suggest the 1.4 converter for the 200-400 lens Art. You will loose 1 stop i.e. From f4 to f5.6. The 200-400 is not too happy with a 2x converter and "hunts" for quick accurate focusing. |

Welcome once again Peter and thank you for your 1st image to this group. I like your lines and the road in and out of the image. Well seen and captured. My opinion would be to crop the image to cut some sky and darken the road a bit with the sky. (as per my attached image). Photography is very subjective and we all have different views. |

Hi Marge, A Lovely peaceful scene.Composition is good but the sky is distracting and not contributing to your image. My suggestion below is to crop out the sky and add a little more light to the animals and soften the shadow area and try to find those lovely horse eyes. You have handled the background very well and it enhances the image of the 3 horses.I agree that one should not crop the foreground. |

Kerstin, we all look and express our opinion. I like your image and I read from left to right and find that the lighthouse is in the very strong composition of "thirds". Well exposed and well seen. Nice scene. |

Very well seen and captured Art. This Greenbacked Heron (as known in South Africa) is an extremely clever and cunning bird and a very interesting subject to photograph. You captured the moment and the emotion of this bird. Sharp, well exposed and great composition. |

Nice leading lines Gabrielle and a very well seen shot. The reflections are outstanding and the perpendicular lines perfect. |

An excellent exposure especially with the white against the black fur and the darker background. Focus and composition is great . I go with Art's suggestion on the lightening of the right eye. An endearing image. Nicely done. |

Many thanks for all the positive and complimentary remarks. Much appreciated. Take care with your choice of a 2x converter and on which lens you want to use it with in order to get sharp and well focused images |

We are definitely into flowers this month Gloria.! You have certainly brought out some fantastic coloring and thank you for sharing it with us. As a matter of interest you can create another layer in PS and paint over the required areas with the "Sponge" tool in saturate mode and be selective on certain areas.?
I like your background as well as the flower petals. well done. |

Great artwork James and a very pleasing image. I like your brushwork and the end result is excellent. I would have included more of the foreground and not crop the image. |

We are both into flowers this month Elinor. I think that your artwork is very good and you should not be too concerned about which brushes you use as long as the result is to your satisfaction. Personally I would like to see more of the flower without an amputation to the petals.Great art non the less. |

Angela, you certainly changed this image to make a beautiful work of art. The mood is great and the background is stunning. Thanks for sharing the process. Personally I would crop some of the left hand side of the image and would have had 3 boats. But that's me with composition and having uneven numbers of subject in the image. |
